He used to drool spittle when he was screaming maniacally at us from his podium. The poor girls in the front row of the flute and piccolo section would get bathed in it. He screamed A LOT.

As he did that, he would exhort to the rest of the orchestra, "While I'm working with the [brass section], I want the rest of you to finger your parts." We couldn't help but HOWL with laughter, which would drive him insane. He had no idea why.

He used to drool spittle when he was screaming maniacally at us from his podium. The poor girls in the front row of the flute and piccolo section would get bathed in it. He screamed A LOT.

We couldn't help but HOWL with laughter, which would drive him insane. He had no idea why.
