Didn catch your previous Telephone theme show. Some acquaintances of mine had a group called The Telephones

Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:11pm
Jan Turkenburg:

Ah, yes I found them during my search. Maybe we'll do a show with bands with telephone in the name in this series.

Don't always catch this one. Often feeding flies.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:33pm
MHLee:

WOW, I remember the hit of this song but hadn't heard this one.
Avatar 🎸 Swag For Life Member 12:34pm
WR:

Regarding the band, yes, I don't recall any of their songs which focused on the telephone.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:36pm
MHLee:

I'm 50/50 on post-modern jukebox but that one was good
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:37pm
Jan Turkenburg:

Same here, MHLee, sometimes it's just too polished for my taste, but they have some very strong cover versions.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:38pm
Jan Turkenburg:

WR, I found more bands with telephone references in the name, so I'm thinking of a show that isn't by telephones, but only telephone bands.

Hi duggies!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:40pm
MHLee:

I have a soft-spot for the last tunes type of oldies. I had a 1970s radio from my father that basically only picked one AM oldies channel and it basically played the oldies that could not be classified as rock (1940-1960s).
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:40pm
MHLee:

Hi Chresti!
Avatar 🎸 Swag For Life Member 12:41pm
WR:

Yes, when I was just searching for their bandcamp page I was surprised how many others there are.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:41pm
MHLee:

@Jan Which album pick of telephone call instabul did you choose? Franks Wild Years is one of my all-time favorities.

Hi MHLee! Hi Jan!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:42pm

Been listening since the start...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:43pm
Jan Turkenburg:

@MHLee "Big Time"
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:44pm
MHLee:

@Jan that's the rockin' version
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:44pm
Jan Turkenburg:

good to hear, chresti!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:48pm

Within seconds you recognize the sound of André Popp here.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:44pm
