Though I kinda look like one (some drunk college kid once gave me $5 one night in the Quarter). With those caveats, about the only seasoning I use in my red beans is some Chacherè's and bay leaf. 	♥ 10:42pm Hubig Pie: I stole this outta Emeril Lagasse's first cookbook way before he became a celeb chef- Creole seasoning = equal parts paprika, kosher salt, garlic powder and then half as much each of black pepper, cayenne, onion powder , oregano and thyme. Makes an all purpose flavor boost for red beans, gumbo, all the usual subjects.

Even non Szeged paprika tastes different to me organicor not... smoked or not smoked.. I'm 50%, but my father was 100% in Hungarian, my dad's last name means the Russian.... I can do that high kick Russian dance with crossed arms. (never trained)

	♥ 11:52pm mariano: Will: The quail is stuffed with the oysters, andouille, and filé rice. They carve it in half at the table, then ladle the gumbo over it so the stuffing falls out, it's unbelievable.

Makes an all purpose flavor boost for red beans, gumbo, all the usual subjects.

Even non Szeged paprika tastes different to me organicor not... smoked or not smoked.. I'm 50%, but my father was 100% in Hungarian, my dad's last name means the Russian.... I can do that high kick Russian dance with crossed arms. (never trained)
