Brian, it is, thank you for asking. The final track is just being finished. Very happy with it indeed. Now comes the all the whole malarkey around pressing it.

Had a truly special guest lined possibly up, but sadly he was unable to do it in the end. Them's the breaks...
Avatar 🥁 Swag For Life Member 12:45pm

I know that Sem grows much garlic. Ours is a limestone soil, must do some more research. How can you live without it. (rhetorical question)
Avatar 🥁 Swag For Life Member 12:46pm
Brian in UK:

David, the art has to go through mundane processes.

Is London calling?
Avatar 🥁 12:46pm

Our soil is heavy clay, though we've built up the organic matter pretty well. Quite alkaline. The garlic seems to like it fine.

So another live show conundrum-Sons of Kemet are playing tomorrow at Webster Hall. I really, really, really want to see them BUT... it's a standing room concert, I last did that for Yo La Tengo's Chanukah show, regretted it (bad back). But I Really Really Really want to see them (I'll probably pass, it's also a school night, but I just wanted to kvetch...)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:58pm

Ooh, looking forward to hearing the new stuff, David! Michael, let me know how your garlic in pots works out. I'd love to try it. No rooftop access in my NYC apartment.

Starting momentarily here on the Drummer Radio stream: Multi-layered experimental long-form found-sound collage, live-improvising samples, loops, music, and spoken clips into a 2-hour hypnotic stew.
