I looked up the TRX label. It was a subsidiary of Hickory Records. The address on the 45 is the old Hickory building here in Nashville that I've driven by many times. I think it was a church for a while & now there's some kind of business there.

zoe - we did lose power about 1AM on Thursday but got it back about 10:30AM Thursday morning. We are on the Winter Park electric grid, which has a smaller customer base, so we tend to get repairs a little faster than some.

Carmichael - Ft. Myers is almost wiped off the map. It's awful. Plus the bridge to Sanibel washed out, so if anyone didn't evacuate, they're stuck there for awhile. As I said, I'm grateful to have made it through with my home and my sanity intact.

my folks had a house in Ft. Myers, 5 days by train from here. Every day, back in the 1990s, we'd drive out to Sanibel. Crazy to think of what it's like today.

Julie - my sister is in Ocala - ok there too just rain & 45 mph winds. She has a horse rescue there (her bread & butter) her job. Had a generator in case - no power outage at all. So lucky!

MW pretty tough so far. One chopper done and out on Wednesday, another due out mid-week next week with large amounts of tasks still to complete. Unfortunately for me I will be working all weekend. At least I do have a job, which allows me to eat well and drink cold beer! How has your week been?

Yeah ngh was telling us the lake behind his place burst & flooded his building knee deep. He said he's in a small unfurnished place on a higher level - & saved most of his books & clothes. He also works for a homeless shelter - & was saying he was essentially singlehandedly keeping the power on & making it work for everyone.
