I saw POLYESTER in Odorama. You got a card with 10 scratch and sniff number. The number would flash on the screen and you would sniff the card. John Waters came out afterwards and said he got the smells from 3M corporation by telling them he was making a children's book.

I first *heard* of Pink Flamingos in 1980 as a midnight movie in Dallas; and ever since, I've preferred most of Waters' other films. He's a fantastic soundtrack curator though, and 'Female Trouble' is a great song.
