What advantages does it have over a bullet train, which I could also afford?

Hi Fred and Alan. Not until May 10.

the Met GALA is a motor car?

That's what they asked about the Stutz Bearcat!

Whose version of this "He Who Would Valiant Be" do I know? Something on a Cherry Red box of English folk rock?

I'm confused about your interest in the bullet train? Are we saying Listener Gregory's interests must be affordable and compared against the usability of your bullet train?

We are not. We are merely referencing a Simpson's take on luxury goods.

Katharsis:

I for one am more interested in Geographical Infromation Sciences than the Met Galla. Perhaps if attendees had to navigate a geographical mountain of the clothing that ends up in landfill it would be more interesting.

Ahh, I haven't watched the Simpsons in decades. Sorry, I missed the reference. What is a Met GALA, anyway?

I am now reading up on Geographical Infromation Sciences which sound interesting. People ask me to define my field frequently. I give all kinds of answers depending on who I’m talking to and what I imagine thier bandwidth to be.

Yes. The Manson Family.

I think the point is that you should take a private bullet train to the Met Gala and not a polluting limo. Space-X rocket is also acceptable.

i could go on about clothing waste, and how much gets dumped in third world countries, where most can't be used at that point, and yet we have inability to cloth the underhoused in this country w/ dignity. (We do what we can for those w/ job/housing interviews, etc, but some sizes don't exist if we haven't had a donation lately.)
