I was in ninth grade and I went to an end of the year party for my sister's super cool friend who was about to graduate high school. Her parents weren't home and she had this huge backyard with a great stereo, total Houston suburb house party vibe. Except I learned that she was maybe the biggest fan of the Butthole Surfers. The entire party we listened to Butthole Surfers. Even the squares were grooving. I asked her what she was going to do after graduation and she said she was going to college. It was then, exactly then, that I realized that college was going to be fucking amazing.

Her parents weren't home and she had this huge backyard with a great stereo, total Houston suburb house party vibe. Except I learned that she was maybe the biggest fan of the Butthole Surfers. The entire party we listened to Butthole Surfers. Even the squares were grooving. I asked her what she was going to do after graduation and she said she was going to college. It was then, exactly then, that I realized that college was going to be fucking amazing.
