We processed all sorts of rubber, wearing the thinnist of gloves to handle hot molds and no masks to protect us from the steam. I was 20. We had the radio on and I said to myself "If Against The Wind" comes on next I quit." Sure enough, Bob Seger came on and I gave notice, A month later I flew to California with the plan to hitchhike back. He was arrested just a couple of weeks after I started my trip. I didn't know about it until I got to my aunt's place and she told me the story. I considered holding off, but I went anyway. I did try and size up my rides, but I was far from street smart. I was just lucky.

UV-TV formed in Gainesville, Florida, in the mid-2010s, but by the turn of the decade they’d relocated to New York City. Their first release after moving to NYC, 2021’s Always Something, was one of EFD’s favorites of that year; they’ll play some songs from that album as well as some new songs from an upcoming release. Tune in for some post-punk jangle-drone!
Wed. May 22nd, Noon - 3pm: The Prof. Fuzz 63 (More info...)
The Prof. Fuzz 63 are a three-piece family band from just north of Dallas. They’re also literally a garage band. Their garage/practice space is adorned with photos of The Cramps, among others, and singer uses an old telephone handset for a mic. What else do you need to know? OK, they’re also playing May 22 at Berlin in NYC and May 23 at Finnegan’s in Hoboken.

We processed all sorts of rubber, wearing the thinnist of gloves to handle hot molds and no masks to protect us from the steam. I was 20. We had the radio on and I said to myself "If Against The Wind" comes on next I quit." Sure enough, Bob Seger came on and I gave notice, A month later I flew to California with the plan to hitchhike back. It took me about 3 months, visiting friends along the way, as well as getting a job in Yellowstone park. Thanks, Bob!!!
