Back in the before times, my friend, an art photog in Mexico City, had his own site linked to his MySpace page. MIA found it from his MySpace (we still don't know how she got there) and loved his work, and hired him to be her personal photog. (he's more of noise/psyche rock kind of guy, which is why i'm still friends w/ him). sooo.., he has a good paying gig. Everytime MIA came to NYC, we'd get backstage party passes. I never really talked w/ her much, but all of her supporting musicians and crew were cool AF!). Hadn't seen her in person since 2013. My friend still does photography for her, but she's was mia (pun intended) for much fo the last few years.

It was hotter that hell in there and full of racoon shit. There was an anvil case with a loop of the shower scene with all the stabbing. Everytime a tram would pass, it went off. I just about lost my fucking mind!

Back in the before times, my friend, an art photog in Mexico City, had his own site linked to his MySpace page. MIA found it from his MySpace (we still don't know how she got there) and loved his work, and hired him to be her personal photog. (he's more of noise/psyche rock kind of guy, which is why i'm still friends w/ him). sooo.., he has a good paying gig. Everytime MIA came to NYC, we'd get backstage party passes. I never really talked w/ her much, but all of her supporting musicians and crew were cool AF!). Hadn't seen her in person since 2013. My friend still does photography for her, but she's was mia (pun intended) for much fo the last few years.
