This is where all of culture and all of time are collapsed into one seductive portal and viewed through the panoramic lens of the exotic. Come and embark on an armchair-travel virtual-voyage to the heart of timeless darkness and beyond; embrace the numinous monolith of the exotic immensity. Let us find that place where hybridization meets its destiny as pure fantasy. Let us become observers observing those others who are ourselves. You wear your mask and I'll wear mine.

el nino actually is usually beneficial weatherwise for fl (less hurricanes, more precipitation/cloud cover, due to the intense convection-heat in the morning which cools keeps it 'cool' in the afternoon w/ rain/clouds.) also, less activity in the upper-atmosphere which allows for the aforementioned behavior.

I saw Phillip Glass at The Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in the early 80's. I had seen Ornette Coleman at The Westwood Playhouse a couple of weeks before. The same guy was at the mixing board. I got the impression he thought he was part of the show the way he wiggled around in his seat(the mixing board was in the front of the house at both shows) Understandably, they were both plum jobs, but the guy was kind of a ham. The sound at Philip Glass was as loud as any punk band. He's was also a spirited performer. Elton John and Ray Charles for the smart set.

dubbed by Michael "Mikey Dread" Campbell - you'd think that was Mikey Dread aka Michael Campbell, Dread at the Controls? wrong! it's the other Michael Campbell, aka Mikey Dread, of Aswad. Naturally
