Had to laugh at this kinda prog-ish moment in a documentary I watched about the late Jay Bennett of Wilco.

Seems he was in the studio working on his solo stuff & playing an actual Mellotron when the power transformer started smoking then the instrument burst into flames.

He just kept playing, laughing maniacally.

Unfortunately there's not actual video of the event rather an animation with a voice over by one of his studio engineers

Didn’t intend to foment controversy. In medical/clinical settings here in America, the e at the end of “diastole” and “systole” are usually silent. You dictionary hounds might check if it’s given that way as the second pronunciation in your word bible of choice? Of course, like everything else, it’s complicated, because in clinical settings those terms are rarely used, it’s almost always the adjectives “diastolic” and “systolic”, used to record blood pressure (pronounced “BP”)

Only saw Blegvad once at Maxwells (in your neck o the woods). Perhaps after the over-produced Knights Like This … or more likely Downtime album.
