There was an installment at the Cloisters in NYC maybe 10 years ago that played Spem In Alium on 40 speakers, one voice per speaker, in a circle in the chapel they have there. One could sit and listen, or move around the room and get different perspectives on the combinations of voices. Really fascinating.
