	♥ 3:37pm prof.fuzz: it sure didn't hurt that many of the SST bands got in the van and hit the road. we saw a lot of these bands live, then bought their records. and once the label was established as tastemakers, we bought anything on the label, and then went to see those bands when they came to town. these guys were, mostly, road dogs.

Never didn't feel underground, a bit more rare ...& so even a touch illicit. Very little has maintained that sort of talismanic charge these days...
