I didn't know about that Rothschild party thingum. When I was in library school at UCLA, late '80s, I cataloged part of a private library owned by Loren Rothschild. Always wondered if he was connected. The Reynolds portrait of Johnson described in this article was in the library. I did my work sitting beneath it.
