the wait forever etched in my mind from a tape i made off wfmu, the first time i listened to the Great Pat Duncan, c.1983; and the first time hearing killing joke. i was staying at my mother's house and recording with her cassette deck and the levels are low in the beginning and when i realised it i turned it up gradually, only all the way up by the 2nd chorus. it actually was pretty effective like that!
