We had our fair share of crap, but there was a silver lining to almost everything. My bride developed a life-threatening food allergy and almost died in the ER waiting room, but we identified the problem, both of us have changed our diets and are overall healthier for it. My youngest moved away, which was painful, but he's living his best life and that makes me happy. My mom's health is declining, but we found someone to come into her house a few days a week that she loves, so I don't have to worry about her as much. Work has been drying up bit by bit, but it forced my wife and I to reconsider what we really need to retire, so that alleviates some of the anxiety of calling it a career. Silver linings.

We had our fair share of crap, but there was a silver lining to almost everything. My bride developed a life-threatening food allergy and almost died in the ER waiting room, but we identified the problem, both of us have changed our diets and are overall healthier for it. My youngest moved away, which was painful, but he's living his best life and that makes me happy. My mom's health is declining, but we found someone to come into her house a few days a week that she loves, so I don't have to worry about her as much. Work has been drying up bit by bit, but it forced my wife and I to reconsider what we really need to retire, so that alleviates some of the anxiety of calling it a career. Silver linings.
