	11:58am Dennis Diken: Dean - great. He even called me at home to clarify a point afterwards. He was in Gershwin’s touring orchestra for “Rhapsody In Blue” and sat next to GW on the train each day, taking notes of his complaints re the musicians not getting the nuance of the score to his liking. Mitch later recorded a version of RIB based on said notes. He gave me a CD of that performance (waxed at Abbey Road).
