reminds me.. i had, i guess, what would be a second cousin who was a jesuit priest and at a family gathering he told this story about being in china and the catholic church used some imperial device like a stonehenge type thing that would create a light pattern on a certain day of the year. it was how the emperor controlled his people by telling them that by predicting this beforehand he was a god. he said the church was doing the same thing and laughed and laughed, i hated his fucking guts

i saw the most amazing sight, a group of teenage girl balladeras, a guittaron mexicana, a regular aooustic guitar, and violin and viola. they were in costume, and came out of restaurant and started to play and sing... awesome!
