english is my native tongue, but for some reason, when lyrics are in english, it's just another timbre, or instrument, and my brain doesn't recognize it as language. but, since i'm fluent in spanish, my brain recognizes, "oh, words i know, let my brain translate". it's weird, i know.

I took it as a Beyonce album with country elements, and ultimately I was very happy for the country all stars (Tanner Adell and beloved new life included) for having their dream collab, but ultimately feel the album was kind of mid with the exception of some tracks and that the artists who came together to make this vision come true really did Beyonce a solid.

Jordan Peele’s movie ‘NOPE’= so GOOD (& unique!). So cool to be introduced to Linda Martell here. Finally attended the Beyonce hybrid concert/docu film of last Dec release. It was a wild 3hour ride. And frankly, overall a much more satisfying experience than the corporate machine that was the 3hour ‘Eras Tour’ concert film. Both are a bit commercially produced ‘over the top’ for my wheelhouse - yet more power to either. (I guess).
