  7:22pm

Learning about this song is always a trip. It's written by the guys from ABBA (okay sure) for a musical (wait they wrote a musical ) about chess (wait, how? How is this about chess? What is going on in this show?)

Hi Julie and fellow Dark Nighters. I missed the first half-hour or so while making phone calls to straighten out a mess regarding a bank account. It's OK now but greatly aggravated me. We all know what it's like trying to get a live human being on the phone at any corporate entity these days. Now I can take a few deep breaths and relax.

Hiya Dan! Oh yes indeed I know that pain. Glad it's over.

If there was only one, or maybe two people, and I'd had enough whiskey, I'd sometimes stand on the bar and sing the damn thing a capella.

Songs that shut down the party? Music From the Body, Roger Waters & Ron Geesin; Weasel Walter, Henry Kaiser & Damon Smith, Plane Crash; The Flying Luttenbachers, Systems Emerge From Complete Disorder; and best (or worst?) of all, Unsustainable Social Condition, Dispersant.
  8:23pm

Oh I love "Music From The Body!" It is SO WEIRD. That and Nick Mason's Fictitious Sports are my two favorite non-Syd Barrett Pink Floyd solo projects. Neither really crowd pleasers!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:24pm
Acid Cazh:

↳ Dean @8:21
Oh if the bar was packed and I wanted everyone to leave, I'd put on John Frusciante's "Smile From the Streets You Hold" on full blast, and people would leave rather quickly.

One night I did that, I turned around and there was just one person left, sitting with his feet on the bar and singing along at the top of his lungs. We became fast friends.

Took about three months of research to find someone who would diagnose an adult but also took UnitedHealthcare. She's been a lifesaver, recommended me to a therapist who treats "late diagnosed" ASD folks, and that's been incredible. Sooooo much makes so much sense now.
  8:25pm

It is a curiosity, hunterfelt, and I really meant just the opening track of (literal) music from bodies.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:27pm

I didn't know she had one! A fairly predictable title, I suppose, but I can't get over the wide-pan stereo farting. Marvelous!
  8:29pm

At this point, Taylor's album-length issue of farts would probably sell trillions of copies. Ozzy Osbourne's? Not so much.
