	11:03am Cecile: still b/p - I LOVE IT. He's talked about how great they are, covered "he's a whore" and produced some of their later albums. And said, pretty much they are one of his favorite bands.

	11:06am CheriPi: Sorry for my typo above-Besides the Beatles-my most hated bands are the Eagles & Fleetwood Mac. A guy got kicked out of Iron Maiden for listening to the Eagles.
	11:07am dc pat: for me it's any group that I don't care for but has a song that gets stuck in my head, like DREAM POLICE!! AAAAHAHHHHHH!! It's not that I loath them but the song-in-head really annoys me.

	11:07am Cecile: No, not Rush. Styx or Journey. I respect Rush too much. The Eagles make me kind of angry. They were the kind of rich hippies I hated in the 70s.
	11:08am glenn: cheri, there are really two fleetwood macs. when peter green was in the band, they were great.
	11:08am Cecile: Joe B, I'm with you. Except for that first Maiden album. It was like Motorhead with a good guitarist. I like both phases of Mac, Glenn, but always prefer the later era when Lindsay's singing and playing.

	11:10am glenn: or maybe i should say when fleetwood mac was peter green's group, they were great. i don't hate rumours era f.m. either, but prefer the former.

	11:12am Cecile: I didn't like the Beatles when the only songs I heard were their worst over and over. As I got older, I wouldn't say I was a Beatlemaniac, but Rubber Soul and the White Album are spotless.

	11:26am glenn: the doc. about rush is supposed to be very entertaining. as far as sir paul goes, he's a major league asshole, but he's a fantastic bass player.
	11:27am Cecile: Oh, I know George's solo career is problematic. I grew up in the 70s! But his Beatles songs are great. I actually heard part of 33 1/3 in a store the other week, and went to the clerk, "this is what we were so upset about? This sounds pretty decent." OH. I know what artist I really, really hate. Cat Stevens. And the most overrated group IMO is U2. Their first record and a half were great, after that, oy?!?!?!

	11:28am BSI: "hate" is still too strong a word for me on the music front, but being in DC when Fugazi first hatched, I gotta say I never got it.... to me they always represented something to GET THROUGH at shows, waiting for something with less whining. An unpopular opinion around here, but eh...
	11:29am dc pat: agreed on U2. I like George's Beatles tunes but spent years as a Paul hater until I found out he played lead guit on Taxman. That blew me away.

Like Rollins. They both grew up in my neighborhood so I guess we're kind of proud of them in these parts...

	11:38am BSI: As far as the funkier DC punk hybrid sound goes, Beefeater knocked the shit outta Fugazi. I always dug the more stripped down dc hardcore sound. Definitely more Christ on a Crutch than Fugazi. ...

Yah, it does, oh, yahhh!
