Bonjour Jason Elbogen.
Bonjour listeners that are here, and those to come.

Don't you find that susceptibilty is a very boring feeling ?
  6:22am
ERD:

apenino:

Bos días!!
  6:26am
Ernest (NL):

This is epic! thanks!
  6:27am
pierre:

OOh yeah sorry my bad.

I think the proper english word is "sensitivity", like when you get easily upset from a situation, or sentence.
I was just saying that because I told somebody something, and that person kind of shut down it's emotions. Therefore, the conversation can't really go through. But then again, it is maybe I that is being to sensitive.

(sorry, I woke up in a weird state, but the WFMU radio is helping me to put thing together)
  6:34am
hamburger:

@pierre maybe best not to dwell on it. *shrug*
  6:38am
pierre:

yeah, you're, right, Hamburger.
  6:51am
pierre:

I'm listening :)

Ooops. Marc Lebel is from Quebec, not France! (But almost the same thing, right?)

www.ebay.com...
  6:55am
Ernest (NL):

that explains his english counterpart...
  6:56am
pierre:

ooh "les américains" just means "americanS"
"les" is just plural. That's a great song !

He indeed has a strong Quebec accent. :)
(I've recently earned that Quebec actually speak a pretty "pure" french has they use old french words, and tries to avoid english words)

thanks for that discovery JE, it is cheering me up, but i knew when tuning in that it'll be the case ^^

Ok, REAL French now!!! (right?)
  7:02am
pierre:

oooh my, this is heavy French right here !!!

"chers compagnons" > "dear fellows"
  7:05am
Ernest (NL):

The Pyramids are playing in my town tonight... Debruit is playing tomorrow. Can't be there though...
  7:18am
pierre:

Pronounce the final "T" in French as well :) pretty similar to the English version
  7:20am
hamburger:

je m'appelle un grand dilettante !
  7:23am
hamburger:

(I am a person with an amateur interest in the arts) :)
  7:29am
pierre:

@hamburger : "je m'appelle" would actually mean that "un grand dilettante" would be your name ? Is thats so ? :) I thought your name was/is hamburger :)
  7:32am
hamburger:

thanks pierre! My 2 week french lessons from 15+ years ago are a little rusty!
  7:36am
pierre:

yeah i was saying that, but i don't want to sound condescending or anything/I kind of suck at my own language anyway, so all my so "called" advices can totally be wrong, i don't know… :)
  7:40am
hamburger:

thanks pierre! it's good to help other people with languages, especially if it's their 2nd one / not 'tell them off' which is condescending... grammar police.
  7:56am
Marmalade Kitty:

Hello/Bonjour! :)
  7:56am
hamburger:

(I have a hole in my sock today and my toe is sticking out. It's a very strange feeling but no one knows! Can't wait to get home and be rid of it)
  7:57am
hamburger:

Allo! Hello!
  7:57am
Marmalade Kitty:

It's funny.. many ways to say the same thing!
  7:57am
pierre:

Again, don't want to appear like a condescending jerk, but i think it would be "equation universelle"…

Bonjour MK !

I like the subtle chin nod acknowledgement
  8:06am
hamburger:

fort was good. but probably wouldn't have gone as far as a "@DJElbogen LOLZ!"
  8:09am
Marmalade Kitty:

btw, I had to look up how to say the same thing en français.. but thats not cheating, It how you learn, right?
  8:13am
pierre:

I wouldn't know, I do that all the time. I'm always trying to look up for words, but mostly expressions in french/english… which explains why sometimes I'm totally clueless.
  8:13am
hamburger:

jes, but should le quote translation to avoide le muy grande confusio
