rrg:

Yes, "I was drug" is a creative hippie use of the English language, which is very pliable in that way.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:49pm
Caryn:

"Drug": 1940s- US Black slang: exhausted, disinclined, bored (from verb "drag"). Thus sayeth my slang dictionary.
Avatar 🎸 Swag For Life Member 3:49pm

So you're saying that Peter Cohon was black?

You could have told me "Oswald" and I would have believed it. But you didn't abuse that trust.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:52pm
Caryn:

And the verb "drag" apparently in the sense of "to irritate, to bore, to bring down" (1940s- US slang). Which also connects with the noun "a drag".
  3:52pm
Hep in the Country:

OMG, that's a good guess: "drug" could well have been past tense for "drag" among Sausalito type cats in that remote era. Hence: I was drug = I was subjected to a real drag.
Avatar 🎸 Swag For Life Member 3:52pm

So, "drug" = adjective, "drag" = verb, "a drag" = noun. Now we can use the hep cat terminology in all its forms.

And for health and safety reasons, be vigilant so you can distinguish between hep cats and cats with hep.

rrg - a (semi professional) answer to this and many other related questions non-programmers ask: probably because it was easier to do it this way. building robust web apps like the live comments and Friendship Society can be nuanced, expensive, and time consuming... very very often less than perfect interactions like that are there only because they work well enough and its not worth the time and money to improve a feature that's less than perfect, but gets the job done.

@RRN63 You are a Water Rabbit. I am the previous rabbit, the Metal Rabbit. But this usage did not arise among Pawtucket hippies.
Avatar 🎸 Swag For Life Member 4:05pm

In this case a tiny addition to the text of the page would handle the redirect automatically after a suitably short-but-not-too-short delay. Perhaps this is the way Kenzo prefers it.

Hey, who are you calling a "non-programmer"?
  4:06pm
B. Vigilant:

Wikipedia says P. Coyote's first and middle given names were Pinchus Rachmil. The letter says the guitar was inlaid "with the initials RPC at the 12th fret. Maybe Irwin can get Peter C. (or his secretary, or publicist) on the phone and clear up this whole strange trip.

Attempts to do SOMETHING went awry when even all 6 openings for cleaning women in the area announced that you need a driving licence and your own car to do the job. No car: no job.
