Lulu vs. Zombies vs. Ringo Starr vs. Supremes vs. Beatles (ccc mix) is the ultimate mashup!

G, IP, like guns and happiness, are right there in the US Constitution, it's important and people aren't giving it up anytime soon. I think guns and IP are required in Irwinistan.

I like how covers actually interpret a song, a mashup often just plays two songs at once.

Some people want freedom to choose, and other people also to be free to choose anything as long as it's what they themselves would choose. The short term for this phenomenon is "not getting it"

@Alison: and now the vagina dentata issue is making me second-guess the judgment of the people who produced that talking vagina porn movie. Seriously, one concept could subconsciously so easily lead to the other that it would seem like a really bad idea for turning men on.

Bravo RRN63! I myself have quoted that, on Clay's playlist.

@Carm: It always escapes first for Homer S, in fact chocolate's the only one that escapes with him around. But seriously folks, chocolate+vanilla scoop on the same spoon, eat a bit, then continue by scooping up some strawb. My way to begin neapolitan ice cream.

I don't think anyone's ever played anything on WFMU I actually hated. I used to hate things in my teens. Now I just try to 'get' them -- some times more successfully than others. But if I can't get something, I suppose if I hate anyone it should be me, for lacking sufficient cultural or musical insight...

I love the doctors who suggested that the model for the David must have had this or that disease because the hands on the sculpture are oversized. It had to be explained to them that as the David was originally going to be on a building, the hands were made bigger so that they would look normal-sized from the perspective of a person on the street. Simple artists' trick.

And yay, the HGTTG theme!
