awrighty then, I'm here. Are you? On the WFMU webstream?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:03am Sem Chumbo:

Hiya, Frank. Back for more than a few exciting moments...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:06am Sem Chumbo:

Three hours of chicanery...thank god for free-form radio.
Avatar 6:08am fxo:

morning Sem, I forgot the weather report...
Avatar 6:10am fxo:

partly cloudy, lotsa humidity. Thanks Mr. Weatherbee.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:11am Sem Chumbo:

That's pretty much the Nova Scotia story, as well.
  6:15am Jack:

Hi Sem, Frank...loving the heat, hating the humidity.
Avatar 6:18am fxo:

Jack: as it be end of June, ya gotta hate the humidity. Or not...
to each their own.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:20am Sem Chumbo:

Morning, Jack. I am grateful I do not live in Humidity City a.k.a. Miami. Like wearing a wet wool blanket all day.
Avatar 6:22am fxo:

me three (or more).
  6:23am Jack:

Zackly, Sem. A hot wet heavy wool blanket. Give me the desert anyday.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:24am Sem Chumbo:

Sly groove hits the spot, fxo.
Avatar 6:32am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

- according to the AztecCalendar -it's a good day for Humility :
www.azteccalendar.com...
- & apparently for Humidity: all the heat & humidity & no sun...
  6:37am Jack:

I believe that John Sebastians' father was a classical harmonica player. Yes, and also found this: "John Sebastian is the godson of Vivian Vance (Ethel Mertz of I Love Lucy)" !
Avatar 6:39am fxo:

Jack: thanks for the info. "A font of knowledge".

Rev: just keep the air condo swirling.
  6:40am Jack:

Hey RRN63! Frank sometimes plays the ISB, I'm a big fan too. Saw them in '71, pre-Scientology, they were the highest performers I had ever seen, to this day.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:41am Sem Chumbo:

More Hunter Thompson, sweet.
Avatar 6:45am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

'Long As I Can See...' makes me think of the great TedHawkins...
- AC @ work, but I don't do it @ home!
- I've had a summer cold for a week - had a headache for like four days - viruses are new & improved w/ climate change. I work @ a thrift store serving community services & avoiding people is impossible...
- If Robin Williamson has still been a Scientologist after that, it hasn't hurt his rep as an artist: people have told me the same thing about him solo...
  6:46am Allan in Germany:

Bobby Bland R.I.P.
Avatar 6:47am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

I like in 'I'm Not There' movie when Dylan & his band break out machine guns when he goes electric...
Avatar 6:49am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

B.B. - @ 83 y.o.
  6:49am Jack:

well, they had to use guns at Newport; Pete Seeger was attacking them with an axe (or so I think I heard...)
Avatar 6:50am fxo:

Allen: thanks for the remembrance. Bobby "Blue" Bland": R.I.P.
Avatar 6:53am fxo:

Pete didn't wield any ax. He might've been frustrated, to say the least.
Avatar 6:53am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

- I think Seeger threatened to go @ the sound cables w/ an axe. He says his elder father (I think) was in a car & had bad hearing & was cowering from the sound. Dylan acknowledges the mix may have been quite bad & it was not prepped enuff - but that segment we heard was from that Newport show - & it sounds nervous & aggro but not bad! I think the lead guitar stabbing out like that just shocked them.
Avatar 6:56am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

- P.A. systems in a way didn't even really get formalized until Bill Graham's venues & tours by people like TheWho & Stones in the late 60's finally worked them out.
- Even in 2013!! proper sound is not guaranteed - as we all know...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:57am Sem Chumbo:

Newman writes a hell of a song.
Avatar 7:01am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

- I quite like Warren Zevon too - who we can compare & contrast to Newman.
Avatar 7:08am Conan the Grammarian:

...that would be 'whom'...
  7:10am kat330:

Thanks a million, Frank! :) It is kat330 where this can be found on SoundCloud if you'd like to add that to "Kat"? Kiiiiiiitos!!
Avatar 7:14am fxo:

kat330, indeed!
Avatar 7:19am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

George called himself & Ringo 'economy class Beatles' : )
- his last album 'Brainwashed' strikes me as 'Folk Music' in the sense of being humble & emotionally direct in a good way that - urm - certain other larger Beatles might envy...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:23am Sem Chumbo:

More QMS! Takes me back. Thx, Frank.
Avatar 7:25am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

- yeah - loves muh MobyGrape too...
  7:46am Toni Baumgartner:

...when I lived in Santa Barbara 16 years there was the Pacific on one side, & hills on the other over which was desert (you'll hear about 'Santa Ana' winds in SouthernCali: absolutely dry warm winds coming off the desert)
...this is all I know - extreme diagonal opposite corners of the U.S. ...

  8:32am 3d-nyc:

@ G- Master mashup- in any case, it took both pieces to another incredible place -
Avatar 8:33am Revolution Rabbit Nov63:
