Good morning Jeff. It's always a pleasure to hear your show, though the reason makes it bittersweet today.
Avatar 7:40am
jeff-m:

Morning Fred. Figured I'd chased everyone away :)

Yeah, I feel really bad for her. Bosco was a sweet dog. She'll be back next week.
Avatar 7:43am
duke:

Something happened to Bosco? My sympathies to Meghan.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:43am
fred:

Jeff, it took half the show, but you seem to have finally chased my boss away. Now I can listen
Avatar 7:47am
jeff-m:

yeah Duke, Bosco is no more.

(feels cold to say it that way, but i don't want to put words in Meghan's mouth- or something like that... )
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:49am

Sorry to miss Heroin In Tahiti. Fabio played some of their stuff last week. It was pretty interesting.

Probably Warsaw, Poland. They've had a fall contemporary music festival for decades.

Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Condolences to Meghan regarding the legendary dawgie Bosco.

- Interesting & atmospheric show of stuff I'm sure to hear nowhere else - suits my disposition this morning.

Sounds good to me EzSezz. Doesn't say, but I'm guessing it would specify VT if if that was the case.

it's afternoon now, just locked in, from the jurassic coast, UK, hello all
Avatar 8:21am
Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

Dave Mandl discussed this ChrisWatson on his program - the cost of the microphones, the time he spent in the field & how unprecedented it is - which one might not consider if just listening & thinking 'nice birds' or something...
Avatar 8:21am
jeff-m:

... such a habit to say "morning" while i'm making stuff up :)
Avatar 8:24am
Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...I kinda like colloquialisms from a station - the temperature in N'Orleans from WWOZ par example
- but FMU has a sort-of realtime Community thing going on...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:25am
Sem Chumbo:

I am grateful to hear many pieces this morning for the first time otherwise certainly missed. Thanks to JM, and FMU.
Avatar 8:25am
jeff-m:

well, Chris Watson works for the documentary "section" of the BBC and has been doing professional soundwork for a long time so the sticker shock was slow probably.

Now that I'm looking at the booklet I remember it's an attempt to capture a 7th century landscape or something. Unfortunately we won't get that far into the CD.
Avatar 8:27am
jeff-m:

Thank you Sem. That's very nice of you to say. Glad you're having fun
Avatar 8:29am
Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

- well Lindesfarne was a monastery / community (?) legendary for its' exalted mysticism...
