Award-winning Colombian band Jaranatambo rocks WFMU studio B tonight. The hard-working Electro-Latin outfit from Bogota is on tour to support its self-titled third cd. Driven by Sandra Serrato's powerful vocals, Jaranatambo creates a compelling blend of Colombian and Brazilian traditions with modern sounds.

Check out Jaranatambo live at Terraza 7, 40-19 Gleane St, Elmhurst, Queens on Saturday August 31!

Which is the song you played around 7:40 PM? I JUST mussed the name and really loved it.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:16pm Rob Weisberg:

Hi Izzy - I can figure it out later but around that time I played instrumentals by Mogollar and Ghali Benali and Timnaa so it may have been one of those. Or the last track with vocals BEFORE I played three brass band tracks - and then the band started live - was Dakha Brakha.
