i'm not a doctor, but i will say that sudden changes in vision are always worth running by one. my mom developed a sudden visual obstruction in 1 eye that turned out to have its origin in carotid plaque. essentially an eye-stroke. ultrasound revealed an 80% carotid blockage; surgery followed.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:29pm
Alex In Illinois:

I had floaters last year. There were the dark ones that I saw with my eyes opened, that I first thought were bugs or spiders, then there were the zipping white dots I would see when I closed my eyes sometimes. I called my ophthomologist's office and told them and they asked: "How soon can you be here?" So I went, they checked out my eyes, sounded relieved and said: "No detached retina or anything like that. These are due to age, and should dissapear in a few months." They did.

@Revolution Rabbit Nov63:
You mentioned "playing amazing guitar" dream. I have had that too, and also the same experience of the melody being erased from my memory as I wake up, so that it is lost before I can play it.

For me, sometimes it is not a guitar, but some strange instrument that does not exist in real life. In one, the instrument consisted of ropes stretched across a crater, and a bunch of us had to stand in the crater below the ropes and jump up to pluck them.
