Morning Andy, KP (and others to be introduced later)! Yep, saw GYBE this week. This time we stayed for the whole show. Man, wow.... man again! Godhead on the stage. I can't really put into words how great they were.

..... and what about the Hawkwind cancellation?! We'll talk later!

Brian in UK:

Howdeedoodee Bill, Andy, KP.
Grade A, grey day here.
  3:45am
KP:

They were going to play an 12 minute walk from where I live, the Grammercy theater. If you know ny, you know the idea of Hawkwind playing in Granmercy Park is pretty funny.
  3:50am
KP:

I do however have an invitation to see the Hawklords and Sendelica in Wales. Sendelica is on Fruits de Mer. Are the Hawklords competing with Hawkwind?
Avatar 3:51am

@ Brian - medium grey over here

Avatar 4:09am

I shouldn't say this out loud, but I'm rooting for the Sox this year. I was hoping Dodgers/Sox but you can't have everything. Wasn't even paying attention to the National League playoffs this year.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:13am

How you doing, Jay?
The Ashes cricket starts next month in Australia. Not a World Series, more important than that.
  4:14am
Emile:

Nice to have you back, though PGB held down the fort admirably.

It's amusing how polarizing our sports talk is...

@Brian - "World Series" I like that!

I would've like to have seen Pittsburgh in there too. The only reason I'm rooting for Boston is a former Phillie is on the team.

The whole thing makes me laugh. We have to dress in Halloween costumes and perform in front of several hundred likewise dressed revelers.

Sounds like an actual Roxy Music show circa 1972
Avatar 4:25am

@Stanley/Emile: Not Halloween-y so much, but from what I remember of their every press photos they were into the dressup thing in a big way.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:29am

Phil Manzenera's bug-eyed shades are a bit creepy, though. Get a pair of those and you're set.
