actually quite a few posts on youtube from that album mr. deejay. probably cleaner than i would make. possibly grab them from there. they sound like ian and sylvia, actually. her voice didn't develop into that banshee quaver yet that makes her solo album so good.

@Cecile: It was between this, that one, and Sam Gopal. I like this one best.

i went to see Eric Burden out in Hamptons. They were selling CDs before set. i asked the guy if they had the one with Brian Auger, recorded right there at Stephen Talkhouse. He saidno. i said are sure, ive seen it. No Brian Auger! Are you sure, YES NO BRIAN AUGER. So i bought a couple of others. The show started. The keyboard player was the salesman.

Trivia tidbit: Brian Auger played the harpsichord on the Yardbirds' For Your Love.

@Joe "community powered radio" in DC. a euphemism for "pirate," which also means it reaches like a 2-block radius in the hip part of town. no stream because we have terrible internet and are actually more terrified of soundexchange than we are of the feds.
Avatar 11:49am
Joe McG:

@Mike: The important thing is that you are making that 2-blocks the coolest neighborhood in D.C. Great to hear it, my friend.

@Carmichael and by they, do you mean SoundExchange, coming for their royalties? it really worries me!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:52am
Mike Noble:

@Carmichael: I do podcast actually, but I literally have single digit subscribers, so I don't think I have anything to worry about yet. Except worry about losing my sanity over constantly screaming into the vacuum. I'm also a half-dozen episodes behind on updating the thing.

@Brian - the Rounders version with Pete's solo acapella, yeah. Hurley sang it himself on his Folkways debut (which I only learned about today) and on 1970's Armchair Boogie.
