In the 1930s it was still the Golden Age of Hollywood, & it was still capable of reaching the Level of FairyTale - in fact, had to in the Depression. I would maintain that King Kong 1933 (Beauty & the Beast among other things; the real prototype of Daikaiju) did this as well as Oz (in fact, the Horror genre reached a definitive moment in that worst year of the Depression & in-between the Wars w/ Frankenstein - Science, Dracula - Magick)...

A poem I like with a great first line. And last.

Genesis 2 by Gwendolyn MacEwan

In the Beginning was the End.

And God saw the Beginning and the End and was pleased.
And He asked the Beginning and the End to separate.

And they said No.

Then God was not pleased and threw a tantrum,
And said Why Not?

And the Beginning and End said We Cannot.

And God said What Will You Do Then?

And the beginning and the End said Just Watch Us

Now that everybody's gone, I can clarify my comment about PLU's record reminding me of Kenzo: It's really about the "I'll be your mirror" loop. It's at the beginning, and near the end, but it fits so well that it could have been there throughout, and it was in a sense, the way there's often a theme sample in Kenzo's shows, if only in my mind. So I guess I listened to Vicki's record like I was listening to Kenzo's show, layering each track upon the previous ones. It's probably wrong, and I will listen to that record properly soon, but I enjoyed this mistake
