Morning Bill, zeroheads. Nice to hear some straight ahead jazz at this hour. Hits the spot.

With this music you should have an old fashioned announcer introducing the show, like the old Tonight Show or the Colgate Comedy Hour or something. "...and Bill's guests tonight, Connie Francis and Vic Damone..."

Hello Bill, KP, Emile, P-90.

Think you are right KP. Where did he get that T-shirt?

Is it a hangover, or more of an "afterglow"?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 3:23am

@P-90 Afterglow has more sexual connotations. At least in my grubby mind.

Yeah man, I'm always relieved it's done but there's that post marathon euphoria that we deal with... also we're back in the big room. Hey Brian... yeah where did he get that shirt... btw I'm still wearing it!

@W41 I agree. I was really disapointed when Google went into China in the first place. Google is facing a (presumed) class-action lawsuit in US for scanning unopened email of its G-mail accounts. Google is trying to hide it's method and use of the data they steal through 'illegal wiretap'.

@Bill
They are scanning everything!

A friend of mine is an engineer at Deutsche Welle Radio in Bonn andgoes there by train. One morning he had a day off. He got an alert from Adroid that he has to go to work, showing him a Google map showing the location of the station.

How is this?
More efficient that the standard electric hobble. they say!

well I'll tell you a scary Google story. I was emailing with my brother about a Johnny Weissmuller Tarzan box set that appeared in the library and ads started appearing on the Google site for Bomba The Jungle Boy! Morning salutations Bill and all!

Computer problems to start the day but have been listening on Internet Radio - a great show Bill. XTC's forgotten and much undervalued double LP 'Oranges and Lemons' anyone? But my top double will always be either Mr Rundgren's Something/Anything or Todd which would be followed by the mighty Hawkwind Space Ritual and the good Captain's fishy facewear. Saw Gira in London last week - intense acoustic and very Swans like

It's all so ironic. I remember talking to someone after 9/11 and was kind of shocked to hear him say that we all have to get used to the fact that things won't be so free anymore. Now everybody's screaming about the monitoring. You know it's like 'you asked for it'.
Avatar 5:23am

Those who most loudly proclaimed, "If you nothing to hide, you've nothing to fear" are the ones who have squealed the loudest when discovered THEY are spied on too. Angela Merkel, Dianne Feinstein, (more to come).

Hi Andy - yes Skylarking is a gem although it was fraught making it as Messrs Rundgren and Partridge are two big characters for a small room with only one set of dials and switches! There's a new reissue of it coming out soon with the proper mastering and original banned artwork
Avatar 5:28am
Andy in Berlin:

@ Fran - I read somewhere that years later XTC eventually admitted it was good.

Hi Y'all! Sorry, I couldn't support you financially this year...I've been pretty broke and am struggling at the moment studying but I will make up for it with some advice. If you drink lots of alcohol and have a hang over you should drink electrolytes or eat watermelon. Watermelon is a great source of natural electrolytes and replenishes the body...just don't drink milk when you eat watermelon. Cheers! :)
