Greetz, Ike, Dale, Carm, RRN63, and TDK! That Fly production by Jack Nitzsche! And I should play the Moody Blues more often... and not just Melancholy Man!

That Indonesian-sounding pentatonic scale of Filastine track was so nice to listen to in the summer evening.

Hi DJ Daniel and all Bluminimalists! Yeah, it's easy to disregard the Moody Blues but there's serious nuggage of worthy material in that catalog.

Speaking of radio waves, somebody (ahem) just tweeted reports on which Brooklyn pirate stations were on the air today interfering with non-commercial stations like FMU, WKCR, etc. @BkPirateWatch -- be sure to tweet your own reports to, uh, him (ahem) esp. if you hear ads or phone #s on pirate stations and ESPECIALLY be sure to spin the dial in Bklyn if you can understand Haitian Creole/French.
