Good morning, Bob. Thanks for getting my Saturday going in the best way.
  9:14am Tom P.:

Bobby! Wasn't that "Rinky-Dink" tune featured in "Dirty Dancin'" with lyrics? Educate me, Brother!
  9:16am Tom P.:

Hmmm. A dark and turbulent tone to the show thus far.
  9:29am Tom P.:

I love the frogs, but the dog is even better.
  9:38am gurn blanston:

Avatar 🥁 Swag For Life Member 9:43am Uncle Michael:

Goof morning, Bob...et al. Bill Haley was already recording in the 1940s.
Avatar 🥁 Swag For Life Member 9:44am Uncle Michael:

Goof=good, usually.

  10:06am mike east:

Great first hour bob. It's gonna be a good day
  10:11am William:

Love Bob Crewe's soundtrack for Barbarella.
Avatar 🥁 10:13am Dave Mandl:

Definitely sounds like a harpsichord, Bob.
Avatar 10:14am Yair Yona:

it's a harpsichord indeed
  10:15am mike east:

Love barbarella sndtrk too. Did Not realize it was bob crewe...kinda just blew my mind
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:18am Guido from Cologne:

dunno ... there was a harsichord involved.
But the intro sonded more like hammered strings -hammered dulcimer or old fortepiano maybe?
but i'm not famiiar enough.
  10:18am scott:

I think that it is an electric harpsichord, as opposed to an amplified acoustic harpsichord. The strings are hammered, not plucked.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:20am Guido from Cologne:

... it is debatable if the mono works better ... but interesting to hear.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:22am Guido from Cologne:

... well sandy denny is credidet with harpsichord.
  10:23am scott:

Love the mellotron on the Family track.
  10:25am heymanolo:

i love Juana
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:29am Greg from Bloomfield:

That was beautiful.
  10:36am Marmalade Kitty:

Great set!
Avatar 10:42am LilyAbigale:

when I hear Icarus, I think of Pete Fornatale when on FUV. When I think of Pete Fornatale, I recall the time he asked a very much younger guest artist out. Sorta. I filled the dead air with giggles
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:51am Whosondephone:

Debussy is the MAN!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:01am Guido from Cologne:
