@bibi: In my experience, Manhattanites use it to refer to NJians and sometimes those from outer boros. "Mean NYer Parisianism" is a nice way to phrase it.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:02am

(usually also refers to visitors to NYC for nightlife, which is odd, considering they leave their money in manhattan, so why complain?)

I saw some freaky video the other day of a camcorder that was found very deep in the french catacombs of a guy who was exploring.. and after several hours he started panicking and running deeper in and getting lost.. and the last thing that happens is he is sprinting really fast and then BAM. the camera crashes down and lies next to a puddle.. no sounds were on video after the fall.. no body was found.. I think it may have been a bit of internet BS though.. still freaky to imagine getting lost in there

Can't wait for Saturday! And Friday! I stole $10 from Andy Breckman last night, so that will get me into both shows.

wish I could get to the show on Saturday...too late to bring a two year old. 9:30 doors is a grown up party...or rather, a party for people in their 20's with no kids.

@ Brian : I don't remember who was saying that, but it was something like "what today's music misses the most is a sane and heavy dose of humor, fun and absurd", and it is kind of true that through marketing, i feel like bands lost their sense of humor. I don't feel like I haven't seen such thing since a long time… therefor my comment on the Bonzos :)

Funny, I just watched this movie from which the song is from. Total hippy surfers in paradise flick. No dialogue, just surfers camping out and surfing to psychedelic folk music.
