Nice start indeed. Some aspects of this new schedule are frustrating, but this show to Fri. mornings is a good move. Will tune in regularly.

@Thomas: Oops! I was confused with Chris M moving. Yes I meant Friday mornings heh.

I replaced Chris M who replaced Liz who replaced Irene who replaced Dave Hill who replaced Dan Bodah... I think

enjoying this set
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:10am

close enough ,, Irene in the evening now tuesday should be way cool !
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:12am
I.K.E. (Ice King Enterprises):

Yes yes, for my brain, that's a *much* better slot for Irene. Chamomile tea is no good for 12 noon on a Monday at work. It's for evenings!

I wonder if Dave Hill is moving b/c resurrected Best Show might be streaming in that timeslot (?) and he didn't want to go up against that?? (Total speculation!)

Martha:

I missed Boys from Nowhere! - guess I'll go home now and listen to it -

Thank you Tome. 9am slot is good for me to listen on the West Coast. Whew. Congratulations Thomas!
Avatar 1:23am
Thomas:

Thanks, rw! I'm happy about it
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:26am
Ĩkє:

Def. a bummer about Keili. That was a relatively genre-less and more free-form show than others in that slot (future and past). Not keen on the weekend shows w/more limited ranges.
  1:27am
rw:

Will miss Keili and Faye though. I don't think I know Dave Emory's show. Must be (have been) on when I'm not around.
  1:43am
JakeGould:

Dave Emory is worth a listen.
  1:52am
rw:

Jake, I will act on your recommendation and download some shows for my commute.
  1:52am
JakeGould:

Be sure to add a grain of salt to those downloads.
  2:03am
rw:

And Thomas, thanks for introducing me to the music of Null & Void. That record is good. Nice packaging too. I think I'm going to buy another copy as gift.
  2:04am
rw:

Grain of salt. Noted.
Avatar 2:04am
Thomas:

I think it would make a GREAT gift
  2:07am
rw:

Of course you would. I was talking about it with my friend Ernest Gibson and he seemed pretty interested. He said you've been a supporter of his by playing his LPs. Seems appropriate, right?
Avatar 2:13am
Thomas:

I really love his record!
Avatar 2:14am
Thomas:

Island Records. Great stuff. Cool to hear you know him

bobdoesthings:

You're doing great I love everything
  2:31am
rw:

Thomas. Yes. It's always nice when your friends make music that you'd listen to even if you didn't know them. I played the saxophone parts on that one. I'm pretty excited about it because it's the first time I've been on anybody's record.
Avatar 2:40am
Thomas:

Nice, I'll have to pull it out again soon. My buddy Mike put out the Net Shaker split 7" so I have to thank him for the introduction
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:41am
I k e:

@RW, Dave Emory's show is talk, largely conspiracy theories, some of which depend heavily on guilt by association (though to be fair, he seems a bit more grounded in the past few years). If you're into that kind of thing, enjoy. I prefer to read political material rather than listen to it.
  2:47am
rw:

Ike, thanks for the heads-up. I'll be sure to add an extra grain of salt.

Thomas, it is a small world is it not?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:50am
Sem Chumbo:

Morning, Thomas. Been lurking some while you've been working. Got some crap things to do early in the week, by the looks of the playlist, this show will be a fine counterpoint...a welcome relief. Thx in advance!
  2:55am
rw:

The guitar sound two tracks ago sounded familiar... like... maybe... Faust? Kind of dry yet fuzzy.
  3:00am
rw:

Where does the time go?! Thank you Thomas!
Avatar 3:00am
Thomas:

thank you!
  3:01am
JakeGould:

I like listening to Dave Emory & betting to myself when the first mention of Hitler happens. That’s a fun game.
