I'm having an ok morning, I've been offending people on facebook with my Don Rickles sense of humor.
Avatar 3:24am
Jherweg:

But what else is new?
Avatar 3:24am
Ryab:

I honestly don't know if I'd rather wake up to this music or go to sleep on it. Great late show though. I wonder if a different time slot would change your sets at all. Hopefully not. They should put you right before Fabio.
Avatar 3:27am
Jherweg:

Well the new schedule is coming right up, I didn't ask for the slot right before Fabio. Those daytime slots have been on lock for decades.
Avatar 3:27am
Ryab:

I don't use Facebook for much other than looking at art and usually posting the occasional absurd diatribe or something otherwise polarizing. Anyway lately I've been combing the net for a place to watch SEx & Broadcasting or Love & Mercy.

I think it's lame Ning Nong is gone.

He didn't want to do overnights anymore, he'll be back I just saw him the other day, he put in for the next schedule.

Same time slot? I love when my favs get put back to back, like Jesse and Ning Nong, Nick and Stan etc.

"Decades," pffft. Not always true. Mary Wing and Faye were both on during the day on weekdays but I think they both had to bail due to job-related issues. Marty McSorley got promoted to daytime recently. You usually have to put in years in late night/early morning first though. Unfortunately I doubt you're there yet. :( I know which senior citizens I'd kick off so you could get a day slot, ha ha, but my list is probably not the same as anybody else's and therein lies the rub!

Still the best Breakfast show on the planet!

It's been almost 3 years though Ike... I have a good feeling about the next schedule, but I thought that the last time too!

You have one of those shows that almost can't get more freeform.

even manages to get Hesse on the show

Jherweg:

I'm a ghost around here,,,,, I never volunteer, I don't write on the gab or the Blog, I never Volunteer, or go to any of the WFMU social function so I think thats hurts my chances of ever going prime time. Doing an overnight is a small price to pay for having a show on the station I feel like for being able to do the show exactly the way I want to and having access to the record library.

It was an Impulsive choice, it's my favorite Joy Division song so I thought it would be a obscure way to sneak it in there. Not sure I dig that version though .
