Take this Jobs and Shave it.
How many Steve Jobs movies are there going to be?
Wake me when there's someone else.
Avatar 7:07pm
glenn:

one steve jobs movie is one too many.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:09pm
Rich in Washington:

The only Steve Jobs movie that's accurate is the one from the POV of a bunch of young girls working in a iPad factory. It's twelve hours long and if you take an intermission, you're fired.

Rich in Washington:

I am sorry. I am apolitical now. I am ape political.
"That damn Dr. Zaius!"
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:16pm
Rich in Washington:

Leon performed this LP live recently with a string section, Cassell Webb on keys and vox. It was wonderful! Streamed live, it was...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:18pm
coelacanth:

hello Jesse & outskys
Avatar 7:18pm
steve:

hey Jesse. am i way off here or isnt there a version of this song that sounds completely different?
Avatar 7:20pm
Jesse K:

Hi Rich, coelacanth, Steve! Yes, there's another version that's about 30 seconds shorter, was reissued recently I think
Avatar 7:21pm
steve:

aha ok so its "Ring with Three Concentric CIRCLES" by Craig Leon as opposed to discs. www.youtube.com...
Avatar 7:22pm
Jesse K:

Oh right, do you think he had to explain the difference between discs and circles to the printer?
Avatar 7:23pm
Jesse K:

This for me is the definition of challenging music
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:23pm
Rich in Washington:

this song wants me to say 'billions and billions' yet I am unsure why...
Avatar 7:23pm
steve:

it raises some questions, for sure
Avatar 7:24pm
Jesse K:

Jack Horkheimer?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:27pm
Rich in Washington:

ah, jeez! I had to google him - didn't recognize his name. Things didn't end well for The Star Hustler.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:27pm
northguineahills:

I'm not sure why I like neo-New Ageism when I always derided the original stuff. Although, I suppose I was biased, as there is some damn good New Agey stuff out there, it's hard to surf through the crap out there. This is all excellent!
Avatar 7:41pm
Jesse K:

Are you saying you're New Ageist?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:45pm
northguineahills:

I'm against people w/ new ages. (frickin' kids, get off my lawn.., err sidewalk!)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:48pm
northguineahills:

Oh, man, Suns of Arqa! I actually have a new agey/ambient album of theirs.

@UM, I'm just glad somebody has meaningful baseball to enjoy
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:24pm

Last night Chris Denorfia hit the first pinch hit...walk off homer...in extra innings...to end a game 1-0...in MLB history. That was cool.

I like the pictures...even the starling murmurations...even though I hate starlings.
Avatar 8:38pm
Jesse K:

Starlings were some of those Shakespeare birds no?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:44pm
coelacanth:

i like this piece. i think it's highly influenced by a radiohead song.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:50pm
Uncle Michael:

Dylan Thomas...starlings and bible black...
Avatar 8:52pm
Jesse K:

@coelacanth, Oh, that's interesting. I have to admit I'm not super familiar with Radiohead. This piece was done as a soundtrack to a show about radio at a Museum in Grenoble
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:54pm
northguineahills:

This is actually quite nice for Xeno & Oaklander.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:55pm
coelacanth:

the song is "like spinning plates" -i think! (it's hard to conjure it up while hearing this; and i don't want to not hear this!)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:57pm
