You're welcome. I found it by searching a library catalog. I don't know the book myself. As for what to read, well, I've been reading acting theory lately, which means I've been reintroduced to Antonin Artaud, and I see that Assimilate refers to Artaud, so I'd suggest...Artaud!

I was going to mention that too, @Peter, even though I never read the books. I love the crazy Lynch "Dune" movie even though it's such a misfire in terms of script and concept. It's so brilliant in terms of creepy atmosphere, design work, and general alien Lynch-iness overall.
