hi Liz - love this - Jahzzar (?) inst - will check on FMA thank u
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:21pm
Liz Berg:

@Rasmus Maria R: Boyle is a bit of a mystery... this is their site:
www.boylesoundartgallery.com

But it's pretty cryptic. Maybe try the wayback machine for that URL? They are from La Crosse, WI, and they list their e-mail as boylesoundartgallery@yahoo.com

Hi-fun moog (or is it video game sound?), liked the Jahzzar as well (at work, in and out of radio range but these were fun to hear).

hello people :)

Liz Berg:

Doctorjazz, Rolemusic's song was a chiptune... the glitchy-minded snag the sound chip from an old gameboy or old arcade game and hack it into their own musical setup so they can manipulate the sounds with knobs and other effects. Pretty cool!
  12:44pm
Mark R:

Loved it, Liz--seemed like the soundtrack for an instructional video or something stupid.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:47pm
Liz Berg:

There are a group of chip musicians out there who exclusively use the sound chip from the Commodore 64, and those tunes are pretty wild/cheesy/great.
  12:47pm

Ahhh! This sounds like that nightmare where you're like at a carnival and these puppets come alive or something (TMI?)

PMS and the Moodswings is a pretty good name for a band.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 1:02pm
Liz Berg:

I was just thinking of making a list of all the menstruation-themed bands that exist: Tampax, Menstruation Sisters... I know there are more.
  1:09pm
Mark R:

You'd think they were just trying to shock us!
  1:09pm

There used to be a band in my town called Menstrual Tramps. Unfortunately the name was the best part.

This isn't really menstruation related, but I also laughed out loud when we got the album in the library from Bummer's Eve.

hilarious. I knew I recognized this. I was working and listening and then went to get coffee and for some reason Sympathy For The Devil was stuck in my head. And I was wondering why it was stuck in my head. Then I started listening again and realized it was a really strange and somewhat vague cover.
