Hi, Pierre!

Well strange could refer to placement too, right? No Eagles planned though...

Good morning. Let the moonlit tears roll on by.

Good evening to ya ausmanx -- in all honesty, it won't be all that strange, I've noticed that that sorta mood often doesn't make it out of my headspace in any kind of discernible way

sashajones:

Morning, Cooh John! Indeed.
Avatar 6:18am
ausmanx:

Morley's a fine start... he can be strange if you listen intently. Meanwhile we're just trying to get the rapid Christian extremists who have taken over the government to stop killing live music... found myself at the front of the weekend's march... www.news.com.au...

Afraid it's all about money, of course. smart people organising the protests though. we might get someone. if anyone wants to sign... we need to spread the word www.keepsydneyopen.com...

Wild Neil:

@Ausmanx-sorry about the lockout laws. I don't think every right-wing Christian would agree with them. I know I don't. Live and let live. If they want to keep their bar open till four or whaterver, so what? However, it is sad some who drink resort to violence. Is it all part of the Australian macho culture? To an outsider, Australians seem more macho than American men...to this outsider anyway, all things being equal...sorry if that sounds like a stereotype, never been to Oz...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:08am
Guido from Cologne:

Los Calambres?
Or Los Calambrinas?
Avatar 8:20am
Wild Neil:

@Ausmanx-never mind, stupid question. Sorry. There are ALL kinds of people in Australia just like here, sorry to stereotype. Truce?

This Ahmed Malek sounds like music from Mad Men like when Don goes to California or something...,.

I hope the "Pledge by the Tear" marathon planning is going well.
Avatar 8:41am
ausmanx:

sorry, was distracted... yeah, Lemmy shared a bill with the Nolans on some bizarre occasion and they got on like a house on fire. Neil, that macho thing isn't really the case any more here, though it's an old mid-century image which dogs Australia, i think. there's much less drunkenness and violence in Sydney than in most large UK cities, for instance (don't know about the US). these laws pretend that they're about safety, but it's just not a serious problem. it's about the casinos.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:45am

Morning, Pascal, thank ~you~!
