Georgia Hubley needs no introduction, especially around these parts. But when she's not drumming and singing in the one and only Yo La Tengo, Georgia dons the moniker Little Black Egg. A loose, improvisatory project that delivers an almost liminal version of that special something that she so deftly brings to YLT, Little Black Egg will be rounded out with Ira Kaplan for a special live, in-the-studio performance on Burn It Down! Friday, May 3.

Losing Terre T seemed tragic - & then 'Beastin' The Airwaves! with Keili' moved to that timeslot. I thot she really really brought something younger & fresher which was very welcome & a real loss to see go - & ToPT Rawks like nobody's business.
