now there's a tear in my beer.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:06pm
Gaylord Fields:

@dale: And now a tear in your ear. (Sorry, but that doesn't rhyme the way I intend it.)
  5:06pm
Syd:

Hiya Gaylord and Fields fans!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:07pm
dale:

oh, the english language!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:07pm
Gaylord Fields:

Hi, @Syd!
Avatar 5:07pm
glenn:

still, it's better than a beer in your ear.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:09pm
Gaylord Fields:

@glenn: And a stye in your eye. And pie.
Avatar 5:11pm
BadGuyZero:

Hiya!

i don't now about stys, but i'm basically a walking skin tag factory.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:12pm
Gaylord Fields:

Those are lyrics from the little-known Tom T. Hall follow-up "I Hate."
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:12pm
Gaylord Fields:

@BadGuyZero: Hiya!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:15pm
Cooh John:

Whoa. Did not expect the spacey music when I jump into the sound waves. Hello Gaylord and fellow listeners.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:15pm
Gaylord Fields:

@Cooh John: Hello.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:21pm
Hugh:

When I touch this little key, plays a little threnody. Hi folks!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:22pm
Gaylord Fields:

Hi, Hugh!

wow, what a song
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:23pm
Gaylord Fields:

@terribilia: It was gorgeous, wasn't it?
Avatar 5:24pm
terribilia:

totally
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:24pm
Cooh John:

Ooooh. Those pops take me back. Waaaay back.
Avatar 5:27pm
glenn:

i love television, but i cannot for the life of me figure out how they were ever considered a punk band.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:29pm
Ken From Hyde Park:

Sunny greetings, all!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:30pm
Gaylord Fields:

@glenn: They really weren't, except in some odd associative way. I may have to start using the phrase "punk adjacent" for bands of the punk era who weren't punk in sound at all.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:30pm
Gaylord Fields:

@Ken From Hyde Park: Greetings and salutations!
  5:34pm
Mr C:

Entering the wide, wonderful world of Gaylord Fields. Good afternoon.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:35pm

Evening all. Anyone watch Paris-Roubaix today? Amazing! (Cycling race for the uninitiated)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:35pm

@Mr C: Glad you dropped in!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:38pm
Gaylord Fields:

@Adrian in London: Welcome, and good night to you.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:39pm
Cooh John:

Any Ron House or Thomas Jefferson Slave Apartments fans listening?
Avatar 5:47pm
Monica:

je suis ici, g ~
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:47pm
dale:

that was really natalie wood? not jackie ward ala the sweetheart tree in 'the great race?'
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:49pm
Gaylord Fields:

@dale: That was Natalie Wood actually singing, not Marni Nixon or Jackie Ward. She had an okay enough voice that was not up to the prevailing standard of movie musicals at the time.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:52pm
Gaylord Fields:

@Monica: mwah!

p.s.: mwah!
Avatar 5:56pm
glenn:

does april march come in like a lion or a lamb?

...why am I on fb jabbering trivia w/ BeatleNerds & not giving GF my full attention?...
  6:06pm
JakeGould:

Regarding Tom T. Hall, the fact he likes sleep without dreams disconcerts me greatly.
Avatar 6:07pm
fleep:

Well all right now.

@BadGuyZero: Turnabout is fair play.

Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

...some programs are Environments like that - Bethany's Stochastic Classical program was an immersive escape...The comments board is *almost* a pity - Morricone Island too - I wish I wan't addicted to typing like this sometimes so I could just lie back & visualize...
JakeG - I've always said that...
  6:30pm
Mr C:

Exotic is my new thing. Monica and I are going soon...
Avatar 6:31pm
Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

See - the Lounge is gone. People are overloading beer w/ hops - but what we really need is Kewl hangouts to drink in !...(Granted - I'm in NewHampshuh...)

@Monica @Mr C: I can just imagine your Adventures in Paradise. Don't forget to carry bail money in your sock.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 6:35pm
melinda:

@Rabbit: I know what you mean about being addicted to typing. I love being able to interact with people here but keep telling myself I need to take a break more often and listen with more attention the way I used to.
  6:40pm
JakeGould:

@RevRabbit: If it's any comfort, here in NYC bars that are chill, cool and nice to just hang out in are becoming rarer. So many artisanal beer dumps that charge $8 for crappy ale and try to rush you out. The culture of slacking is dying.
Avatar 6:41pm
Revolution Rabbit Nov63:

You'd think the rich Millennials would be all over this.
Avatar 6:42pm
steve:

love it
  6:44pm
JakeGould:

@RevRabbit: Oh, many of the rich millennials patronize and even own these bars. But they're all dudebros. None of them have any respect for arts and culture.
