Good morning!

Hola! I need to rock today.

Also, if you can play "Witches" or "Realms" by Beastwars, that would be amazing.
Avatar 12:03pm
V Priceless:

hey!

Being paid by the hour to be bored... dream come true.

excuse me?
Avatar 12:07pm

go see skeletonwitch live. They are great.
Avatar 12:08pm

My monsters are moshing, that's pretty entertaining

There is nothing boring about wearing a pink tutu in your workplace.

another in a long list of songs which I originally thought were sung by a female.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:29pm
Rich in Washington:

I wanna make an Anti-Sandinista Mix tape - using all the loose bits which people usually pare out of their mixes of Sandinista. I love that album. But the weird bits are really interesting when listened to out of context.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:29pm
chris:

hello.
Avatar 12:30pm
Cecile:

I think I would like Sandinista so much better now.
  12:31pm
coe:

Sandanista is my favorite Clash album. one day it will get its due. Probably once every one stop measuring it on the "punk o meter" and just acknowledges it as good music
Avatar 12:31pm
Cecile:

I had never heard dub before Sandinista.
I only heard the hype about it. It took hearing Burning Spear, Singers and Players and others to get it.
Avatar 12:32pm
Cecile:

To be fair, coe, London Calling wasn't that punk, but this was so far off the grid that it was perplexing. Also, I hadn't heard anywhere as much music as I have today.
Avatar 12:35pm
Cecile:

I won't be around. :(
Have to listen to it on archives.
  12:35pm
coe:

Cecile I totally agree about London Calling and the second half of Combat Rock is by no means "punk rock" It just just drives me crazy when people down Sandanista because they took chances like that is a bad thing.
Avatar 12:36pm
Cecile:

King Fowley! The guy who inspired our prog rock masterwork.

Rev. Turnip Druid:

Absolutely had no idea about this band, but something back in the old destroyed brain suddenly said... jeezus, this must be the combo that did that 'gay bar' tune -- and sure 'nuff...
Avatar 12:43pm
Rev. Turnip Druid:

...which i haven't thought about in ages... perhaps the old brain still has a few miles on it before the warranty runs out.
Avatar 12:44pm
Cecile:

yas!
Avatar 12:44pm
Cheri Pi:

Fun band to see live, if you can deal with their obsessed crazy fans.
Avatar 12:45pm
Cheri Pi:

Remember to change yer brain oil every 3,000 space miles.
Avatar 12:46pm
Cecile:

that sounds like a great song title.
Avatar 12:46pm

Speaking of brain-oil-vs-space-miles, still recovering from that Electric Moon track from this week's Garbage Time...
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:47pm

RTD: Agreed! That was tremendous. Still grooving.
  12:49pm
Dean:

Right at the top of my "gotta buy" list: Electric Moon, thanks to that track having been played.
Avatar 12:50pm
Cheri Pi:

Me three, as soon as I get my allowance.
Avatar 12:52pm
V Priceless:

definitely making a b-line to catch up on the Electric Six front...the drummer's name is Percussion World, and their bio describes one of their tunes as reminiscent of "Radiohead sodomizing David Bowie in the center of his mind". My kinda band.
Avatar 12:52pm

Digging. Hellworms are GO.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 12:54pm

JA!

That finger cymbal makes it.
Avatar 12:55pm

DAH!
  12:55pm

Got my five dollar Amoeba coupon.

At this rate, all those bands reminiscent of "Radiohead sodomizing David Bowie in the center of his mind" should mount a festival, BRORSDBITCOHM.
Avatar 12:56pm
Cecile:

I am going to translate their lyrics into english as I hear it. I just heard him sing "red pajamas, red pajamas"
