@RRN63: I impressed a Dartmouth student last week by knowing that it is in New Hampshire (he was saying "north of New York" for us clueless euros). I only knew that because of your comments, so thanks for the instant cred

@fred: I lived in Santa Barbara, Cali. for 16 years. That's all the way across the U.S., diagonally. When I 1st got there - I said I was from NewHampshuh - & I got asked - 'What state is that in?' I said - it is a state. In New England. 'New England??' Yeah - you know - where Boston is. 'Boston??'...SanFran to L.A. is like RedSox tp Yankees all w/in one state...& all w/in this one piece of real estate stolen from the red people, built on black people's labor, wide swaths stolen from the brown people, & connected by rails built by yellow people...&tc. ...

There's Johnny Winter on the TX scene that the Elevators were about...& there are really early rekkids he does stuff like 'Gangster of Love' that are just the kewlest, WWOZ type stuff, so to speak - but he got skrewed bidness-wise I guess is the story - & disowned the whole mess - but they're just the greatest! & then he did 'Progressive Blues Experiment' 1968...
Arthur Brown produced by Pete Townshend. What a voice! What a performer!

Berlin has been surprisingly resilient. Ten years ago I really thought it would be gentrified to death and Prague would take over. But that didn't happen, so they're doing something right

Wonderful second set, Mike. Sweet spins.
