so, i have this quandary: sometimes my brain is clearly lucid and i'm fully "here"; there are other times when i am able to enjoy(if that's the right word) a running review of dreams in and amongst my waking time. i get a thril out of it, yet wonder if this is some early alzheimers thing. anyone have an idea of what this is?

@Neil: his main goal was to discover the inner-workings of propaganda and rhetoric. my exposure to his experimentation lead to my always asking questions, which generally drives people nuts, but i will always have doubt of many things i'm told is "the way".

@Annie-disovering the "Why" of history can be difficult because often it is written by the victor...who has an axe to grind...my wife is a historian from Polan and I see this playing out all the time...the raw data, so to speak-what there is of it that is-is in archives around the world...and some archives are OFF LIMITS to historians, so the picture is not even complete. Your dad would make a fine historian...he could "break the third wall" as they say in theatre and film and explain how the trail goes cold on so many things....the movie Spotlight is a good example of this....propaganda often has a grain of truth in it, which makes it difficult to counter or refute...or even difficult to counter-deprogram using your own propaganda....
