Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:10pm
Dan Bodah:

Black Sea Hotel are a great Balkan singing group (mostly Bulgarian and Macedonian songs)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:11pm
Dan Bodah:

The Elizabeth-Caroline Unit is Sarah Martin, Jean Carla Rodea, Kristin Slipp, and Amirtha Kidambi

Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:20pm

Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:21pm

I bet Micah does
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:21pm

Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:36pm
Rich in Washington:

I think the only other actual Doomsday Cult series record was the Aum Shinri Kyo one, the cult that unleashed sarin gas in a Tokyo subway.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:38pm
Dan Bodah:

It looks there may also have been a David Koresh release. There are some Koresh songs floating around out there but they are dreadful and totally uninteresting musically.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:40pm
Rich in Washington:

I just meant on that Faithways label. I have no idea if they did it as a joke or actually intended to fill in the 1-13 in all earnestness.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:41pm
Rich in Washington:

Yep. Koresh's music is really disappointed. Neither good enough to listen to, nor bad enough to listen to. Unremarkable in many ways.

Ken From Hyde Park:

For listeners who aren't familiar with Micah's program, he plays mind control music during the middle hour of his weekly show. www.wfmu.org...

The Sounds of American Doomsday Cults was the first prize i ever won from WFMU (from the first pledge i ever made).

Doesn't take much more than that to hook me in for life.
