These chants are wonderful

they make my morning news-read much smoother; i can glide through the good, the bad, and the ugly in a daze.

Ken From Hyde Park:

I'm not a coffee drinker by habit, but I was gifted some packets of instant white coffee from some Asian co-workers. Makes a nice treat to sip a cup while the planet shrinks. I guess it's called white coffee because the powder contains creamer; not that the beans themselves were white.

TDK60:

Morning Jeffrey and far-flung listeners. Never heard of white coffee. This morn, it's yerba mate for me, no sugar, no milk, just plain.

Ken From Hyde Park:

I found their product web site. www.aikcheong.com.my... One time, I grabbed a chilled yerba mate at a store. I didn't realize it was caffeinated and it kept me up late that night.
Avatar 8:51am
annie:

yep, mate is extremely energizing

TDK60:

Interesting--Hurray for the Riff Raff is also a tune by Portland, OR folk-rocker Casey Neill. A connection here?
  8:58am
kevlicki:

Tdk60 many of the musicians in Hurray FTRR must've been familiar with Casey Neil, they were crusty punks versed in political folk, so I presume there's a connect
  8:59am
kevlicki:

Also I think Neil is organically from Brooklyn as Alynda the singer is
