Ken From Hyde Park:

From the great wiki: "The [Starday] label began in 1952 in Beaumont, Texas, when local businessmen Jack Starnes (Lefty Frizzell's manager) and Houston record distributor Harold W. Daily (better known as "Pappy") decided to form a record label. The Starday name is a combination of Starnes' and Daily's last names. After four releases, former Four Star vice president Don Pierce was brought into the fold and the three men founded the Starday Recording and Publishing Company."

JakeGould:

A kid on the football team in high school paid me to write a report on the Constitution. I wrote an intro paragraph and an outro paragraph and copied the rest of it, a few more paragraphs, from the World Book Encyclopedia. Got paid $25 but the guy scored 90 when I got only 75 on my fully original report.
